wonderful staff, from reception to John the dentist and his assistant...Only changed my practice as my regular dentist retired, and was worried what may be in store! Couldnt have been better, recommended by my wife and if you are considering a change, this is the place...Great experience!!
Today has been my third appointment with John McQueen in the last few weeks. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and put up with regular toothache for years before I eventually go and get it seen to and I have the added embarrassment of why I left my teeth until they were this bad. From the minute I walked in John was so welcoming and completely understood my fears. He really put me at ease and was not judgemental about why I hadn't taken better care for my teeth or came to the dentist sooner (my last dental practice done this and I felt completely ashamed and made me feel worse about going to the dentist in the future). John took his time when removing my tooth and let me know if I needed to stop at any time, even if it was just to calm down, that wouldn't be a problem. By today's appointment I wasn't even nervous and normally I don't sleep for days before going to the dentist because I worry myself so much but John had been that good at my last 2 appointments I genuinely wasn't scared despite the fact I had to get another tooth out and 2 fillings. Some people think it's just their job and they're like that with everyone but it's important for them to know the difference it makes to people like myself that suffer from mental health issues and anxiety. Words can't describe just how much I appreciate the way John was with me and I won't be too scared to come back for regular check ups now. Thanks John.
